Seal was in his 20s, when he went to a doctor since he had a small mark on his face. No one could diagnose Seal’s condition. Lately, social media users shared AI-generated pictures of Seal, and shared them to show how he would be looking without his scars.

Sealhenry Olusegun Olumide Adeola Samuel, or simply Seal, was born in 1963, in London. He had struggled a lot in his childhood, where he was raised in foster care of an abusive father.

In 1991, he released his self-titled album, with his single “Crazy.”

As he hit the top of the charts, his voice and talent bring his breakthrough, he again released another self-titled album in 1994.

As he became a successful musician, the scars on his face became a trademark figure of his persona. They were giving him a signature appearance when he was on stage.

His relationship with Heidi Klum started in 2004. Klum was pregnant from Flavio Briatore at that moment, she was carrying her daughter Leni.

Leni was five when Seal adopted her. “It doesn’t make [Leni] any more or less my daughter. She always has been,” Seal said, and added, “I have a tremendous amount of respect for him…I certainly have nothing but good things to say about the way he’s been with us.”

“I found myself thinking before Lou was born, ‘We’ve got three kids, how on earth am I going to find any more love to give another kid?’” Seal said. “In the grand scheme of things, it is the perfect life.”

The couple sadly broke up in 2012, and finalized their divorce in 2014.

“It could be easier sometimes, but everyone is healthy and that’s the most important thing.” Heidi Klum stated. Klum later married Tokio Hotel singer Tom Kaulitz.

In a 2023 interview, Seal talked about his scars. “I remember my 21st birthday. I was sitting on a wall when a small spot appeared on one side of my face, and it progressively worsened. It turned out to be discoid lupus,” the singer recalled.

“I saw numerous doctors, but no one knew what it was,” he added.

“This went on for a long time. It wasn’t until I gained fame and fortune that I could see a top specialist who finally diagnosed me with lupus.”

“Now, at the age of 60, if I could change anything… I wouldn’t,” the famous singer concluded.
