After three months of preparations, Amy was waiting her husband-to-be Dave, at the altar. She walked down the aisle, and he was supposed to be waiting for her at the altar, but he was nowhere to be found.

On the next day, after she talked with her father in his office, she saw Brian outside. He was entering to the same office she left.

She decided to follow him.

In a room, Brian and her father were talking while her father’s lawyer were in the same room with them. Brian was holding some papers where he was also shaking her father’s hand.

She then confronted them. Brian was looking guilty as her father was panicking. He directly told Amy that Brian took money from him to not see Amy ever again. He sold his love for money.

Then Brian revealed the truth that his niece was in her dying bed and she needed an urgent procedure.

Brian needed money, so the only option he had was to take the money her father offered to him back in time when he didn’t want him to marry his daughter.

“My life is not some toy you can just play with! You ruined my relationship, and you ruined what was supposed to be the best day of my life!” Amy cried at her father.

“What kind of father are you?! I never want to see you again,” she said and left the office.

Then she went to the hospital with Brian, where Maxine was submitted in. They gave the money and waited for operation to underwent. After the operation was successful, Maxine became their ring bearer at the wedding.
